Enough with All the… Maturity

I’ve been good. I finished a real life, honest-to-goodness grown-up book.

So. Now, it is without even the slightest twinge of guilt that I turn my back on all that self-reflection crap and read something a little more entertaining. I know, I just posted about how there are all these new books that I want to read. And there are. But, several books that I’d had on reserve at the library became available, so I am going to have to turn my attention to them. And, hey, that’s one of the loveliest things about books. They don’t go stale (unlike one of my other most favorite things), don’t get less interesting, will just be there, waiting to reveal their wonders to me whenever I get around to them. And postponing the pleasure might make it even sweeter. If you’re into that kind of thing.
